Casting Crowns

The Christian music band Casting Crowns is a relatively new band that has taken the USA by storm. The seven members from Atlanta, Georgia, who all share a raw passion for doing God's will, became national after starting out as a local independent band. They exhibit powerfully blunt lyrics through exciting solid contemporary rock / pop Christian music. Casting Crowns challenge issues which others may shirk, and glorifies God with amazingly uplifting lyrics through their three albums: "Casting Crowns", "Lifesong" and "Live from Atlanta."

Casting Crowns lead singer, Mark Hall, started out as a youth pastor and didn't ever imagine getting to where he is today. As well as Mark Hall, the members of Casting Crowns are: Hector Cervantes on guitar and vocals, Juan Devevo on guitar and vocals, Melodee Devevo on violin and vocals, Megan Garrett on keyboard and vocals, Chris Huffman on bass, and Andy Williams on drums.
